Alysha Trenholm
Registered Massage Therapist
Alysha is a Registered Massage Therapist, working in the Greater Moncton Area for the past four years. She has a keen interest in working with women throughout the transition of pregnancy to postpartum. Her training as a Certified Childbirth Educator through Doula Canada with additional courses in Breastfeeding, Postpartum and Birth Trauma Support has expanded her experience in treating women’s health patients.
Alysha is also trained and experienced in infant and children’s massage treatments. She is happy to provide infant massage for gas and colic relief, optimizing infant sleep or to instruct parents in massage techniques that they can use on their own baby – a great bonding activity! Alysha also hosts fun workshops on infant massage.
Throughout her career, Alysha has been working with patients recovering from sports injuries, motor vehicle injuries and chronic pain conditions.
She offers a wide variety of treatments including general Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, myofascial release, cupping therapy, and prenatal/postnatal treatment.
Alysha received her BSc in Kinesiology from the University of New Brunswick and continued on to receive her diploma in Massage Therapy. She has continued her education with a variety of courses. She is a strong advocate for maternal support in our community and making it accessible to everyone.
When Alysha isn’t in the clinic, she can be found hanging out with her wild little guy Benjamin and her fiancée Blair. Her journey into motherhood with Benjamin has further fueled her passion for ensuring women in our community have the support they need, when they need it.
