Sasha Mooney

Originally from Prince Edward Island, Sasha earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of New Brunswick and went on to complete her Master of Science in Physiotherapy from Dalhousie University.

Sasha found her passion for treating pelvic health conditions during her physiotherapy degree while completing two pelvic health clinical rotations. After graduation in 2022, she began advancing her education to treat various types of pelvic floor conditions such as urinary incontinence, pregnancy related pelvic girdle pain, pelvic organ prolapses, painful intercourse, and caesarean section recovery/rehabilitation. Sasha has worked in private practice since graduating treating both orthopedic and pelvic floor conditions. She has experience working with various injuries/conditions, although has strong passion in treating pregnant and postpartum women to maintain healthy and active lifestyles.

Sasha is a hands-on physiotherapist who believes in creating individualized exercise programs, providing education and encourages patients to take an active role in their rehabilitation.

In her spare time, Sasha enjoys spending time with her daughter and husband, enjoying the outdoors, and staying active through running and golf.
