Pediatric Physiotherapist
Originally from Fredericton, NB, Kathryn earned her Bachelor’s degree from UNB and went on to earn a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy at Dalhousie University in 2010.
Kathryn has had the opportunity to work in many different clinical settings in various parts of Canada. It was in British Columbia in 2012 where her passion for pediatric physiotherapy began. Here she gained experience working with children in community and school-based program. Since this time, she has moved back to the Maritimes and has worked in a variety of positions. She has called Moncton her home for the past 3 years.
Kathryn is lucky to have experience working in a variety of clinical settings including private practice, the education system through extra-mural physiotherapy, a number of hospitals with inpatients and outpatients, and a community health centre. Throughout all of these workplace settings, she has gained experience with a wide variety of clients and conditions. She is currently also an employee of Horizon Health where she works with a variety of inpatients (geriatrics, oncology, and neurorehabilitation). She now has the opportunity to work with children in private practice at Reconnect Health Centre.
Away from work, she has a very busy family life with two young boys. They love spending as much time outdoors as possible and embracing the four seasons. Kathryn is passionate about her profession, living an active lifestyle and being able to share knowledge and experiences through her physiotherapy career.
She is thrilled to be joining the ReConnect team, and to serve her community to her greatest ability.
