Allyson McDougall

Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist

Originally from Sussex, Allyson loves living and working in the Moncton area. Allyson graduated from Mount Allison University with an Honours in her Bachelor of Science in 2015.

During her undergraduate degree, she volunteered as a student therapist with the Mount Allison varsity football team and that experience is what led her to a career in physiotherapy. She completed her Masters of Science in Physiotherapy from Dalhousie University in 2019. Since graduation, Allyson has discovered a passion for treating women’s health conditions.

She has completed continuing education courses in pelvic health to treat urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, pelvic pain disorders, and pregnancy-related pelvic girdle pain. She enjoys treating women of all ages, especially pregnant and post-partum women experiencing pain and pelvic floor issues, those wanting to prepare their bodies for birth, or return to exercise and sport.

In her spare time, Allyson enjoys being outdoors, exercising, hiking, and spending time with her fiancé Johny and their pup Brees.
